The 2021/2022 Admission Season for Biaka University Institute of Buea (BUIB) has been launched.  This was during a BUIB Admission Board meeting which took place recently at the University’s auditorium spelling out the institution’s readiness for the 2021/2022 academic year. The admission season opens on the 1^st of July 2021 and shall run till a date that will be announced later.

During the admission board meeting, key points were highlighted including the entry requirements into the School of Management Sciences and the School of Health Sciences  at Biaka University Institute Of Buea as stipulated by the government ( a pass in at least two A level subjects  or its equivalence (excluding Religion) for general undergraduate  programs like Nursing and other programs in the School of Management Sciences while more specialized programs like Midwifery, Medical Imaging etc have specific requirements.

Emphasis was equally made on the fact that applications will be done strictly ONLINE and the University has made provisions for an admission center that will attend to the needs of applicants on campus. For applicants’ offsite, a hotline is available on the application portal, for easy communication and clarification.

Coming at a time when the effect of the novel COVID -19 Pandemic cannot be overlooked, management has equally instituted measures including the provision of water points for hand washing and disinfecting, large amphitheaters for social distancing and the compulsory wearing of facemask by all on campus amongst others; which will go a long way to prevent the spread of the virus on campus.

Biaka University Institute of Buea it should be noted is well equipped with trained personnel as well as modern infrastructures, to host both her old and new students.
