Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe as he visited the exhibition stand of Biaka University Institute of Buea during the third edition of the National Maritime and Port Days. The three day event which took place in Limbe from the 14th to the 16th of January 2020 under the theme ‘’the quality of service, guarantor of competitiveness in Cameroonian ports’’ saw the participation of BUIB as an institution fostering the training of young and talented men and women in the field of logistics and supply chain management – an area which is becoming highly inevitable in the success of any growing economy.

Participating at the event, Masters Students of BUIB benefited from presentations by the Ministry of Transport, the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK), and the Port Authority of Douala (PAD) among others.  These presentations centred on improving the quality of services in Cameroonian ports as a means to boost competitiveness and build sustainable consolidation in the growth of Cameroon’s economy.

The Maritime and Port Days organized by the National Port Authority, is a platform for exchange between stakeholders of the maritime port sector, with a view to improving the contribution of this sector in the acceleration of the growth of the Cameroon economy.
